The following causes are possible:
For details on the configuration parameters of virtual machines, refer to "9.2.1 Configuration Requirements" in the "Design Guide VE".
Use the following procedure to delete the virtual L-Server.
On the [Resources] tab of the ROR console, check if "-" is displayed for the following items of the virtual L-Server with the status "unknown".
Take either one of following Corrective Action for the virtual L-Server in step 1 depending on the situation.
When managing a virtual machine which remains in VM management software as a virtual L-Server again
Execute the rcxadm lserver show command, and back up the detailed information of the virtual L-Server.
When using a virtual L-Server included in an L-Platform
Release the virtual L-Server from the L-Platform.
When managing a virtual machine that remains in VM management software in Resource Orchestrator again, perform the following procedure.
When the virtual machine is powered on, and the virtual L-Server is imported as an L-Platform under the tenant folder, specify the tenant folder that is the creation destination of the L-Platform as the [Destination folder].
Modify the following virtual L-Server specifications based on the detailed information of virtual L-Servers that was backed up in advance.
Use the rcxadm lserver modify command to modify virtual L-Server specifications.
When managing it as an L-Platform, import a virtual L-Server to an L-Platform.
