Collecting Troubleshooting Data (During Installation)

This section explains how to collect investigation data that is necessary to find the cause of the problem.

Collection Method

Collect data on the server using the following method.

Log in to the server with OS administrator privileges.
OS administrator privileges are required to collect troubleshooting data.
Execute the inst_collectinfo command.

# DVD-ROM_mount_point/DISK1/Common/install_tool/inst_collectinfo.sh dir

Note

When a DVD-ROM is automatically mounted by the automatic mounting daemon (autofs), as "noexec" is set for the mounting option the inst_collectinfo command cannot be started.

In that case, add "sh" and execute the inst_collectinfo command.

Execution Example
```
# sh /media/DISK1/Common/install_tool/inst_collectinfo.sh /tmp/inst_collectinfo
```
