Corrective Action

Check the following and if there is a problem, take the appropriate action, then re-execute the command.

  • Is there a problem with the power status of the server in the [Resources] tab of the ROR console?

  • Are all the servers in the [L-Platforms] tab also in the [Resources] tab?

If this error has occurred while executing the rcxrecovery command of the DR option, there is a possibility that some of the L-Servers have been deleted using the "rcxadm config filter" command.
In that case, the servers corresponding to the deleted L-Servers remain on the [L-Platforms] tab, so they need to be deleted with the following procedure. After that, execute the rcxrecovery command again.

  1. With the previously recorded resource name, use the orchestration tree of the [Resources] tab to find the tenant and L-Platform where the deleted L-Server existed.

At the same time, check if there are other L-Servers in the L-Platform.

  2. Find the L-Platform corresponding to the step 1 from the [L-Platforms] tab.

The name of the L-Platform in the orchestration tree of the [Resources] tab follows "9.5 Setting the Method for Setting Resource Names" in the "Setup Guide CE".

  3. Depending on the existence of L-Servers under the L-Platform checked in the step 1, perform one of the following procedures.

    • If L-Servers exist under the L-Platform

Open the [L-Platform Details] page on the [L-Platforms] tab, and find the L-Platform ID and the server name corresponding to the deleted L-Server.

Delete the server from the [L-Platforms] tab by using the cfmg_deletesysdata command.

      cfmg_deletesysdata -id L-Platform_ID -server server_name
    • If L-Servers do not exist under the L-Platform

Open the [L-Platform Details] page of the L-Platform on the [L-Platforms] tab, and find the L-Platform ID.
Delete the L-Platform from the [L-Platforms] tab by using the cfmg_deletesysdata command.
Make sure to execute the command with the "-n" option.

      cfmg_deletesysdata -n -id L-Platform_ID

Then, delete the L-Platform from the [Resources] tab by using the cfmg_deletelplatform command.

      cfmg_deletelplatform -id L-Platform_ID

For information about the cfmg_deletesysdata and cfmg_deletelplatform commands, refer to "10.3 cfmg_deletesysdata (Unnecessary Data Deletion)" and "10.1 cfmg_deletelplatform (Delete L-Platform)" in the "Reference Guide (Command/XML) CE".
