Before performing resource registration, make sure the following particulars.
CF, CIP, and resource database settings are complete on all nodes.
See
For details, see "PRIMECLUSTER Cluster Foundation (CF) Configuration and Administration Guide."
All nodes and disk units are physically connected.
All nodes are up in multi-user mode.
To use a disk unit in multi-path configuration, multi-path setting is complete.
Perform resource registration only on a single node that composes the cluster system.
Do not execute any GDS or GDS Snapshot command during clautoconfig(8) command execution. If executed, the GDS or GDS Snapshot command may terminate abnormally.
During clautoconfig(8) command execution, do not execute the clautoconfig(8) command on any other node that composes the cluster system. If executed, disk unit resource registration is not done properly. In the event that the command was executed, it is necessary to perform the recovery procedure as follows on all nodes that compose the cluster system and then perform resource registration again. In a situation where hardware unit resources other than disk units are registered, it is also necessary to register those resources again.
[Recovery procedure]
Resetting the resource database
Reset the resource database using the clinitreset(8) command.
See
For details, see the manual for the clinitreset(8) command.
Rebooting the node
Reboot the node.

For details, see "PRIMECLUSTER Cluster Foundation (CF) Configuration and Administration Guide."
