This appendix discusses the commands provided by GDS, GDS Snapshot and GDS I/O Monitor Option.
This appendix explains the format and facility of commands, specifiable options, and return values.
GDS provides the following commands.

When seeing the manual page of the commands for this product by using the man(1) command
You need to add the following directory to the MANPATH environment variable:
/etc/opt/FJSVsdx/man
The section number 1M is changed to 8 for Solaris 11.4 or later. Note that you need to omit the -s option specifying a section number or specify -s 1M. You cannot see the manual page of the commands for this product by specifying the -s 8.

Commands That Operate Multiple Objects
When an error occurs in operation for part of the objects, the command may either continue operation for the other objects or terminate the process. In either situation, referring to "Appendix E GDS Messages" check the meaning of the error message and take necessary action.
