This section explains about the settings to be done after restoring the system disk.
When the shared class or local class of GDS is used, perform the following [Setting procedure] regardless of whether the system disk is mirrored by GDS.
The following procedures include the [Setting procedure] steps. Therefore if the system disk is restored by the following procedures, [Setting procedure] does not need to be performed.
- "6.2.2 Restoring"
- "6.3.2 Restoring (When the System Can Be Booted)"
- "6.3.3 Restoring (When the System Cannot Be Booted)"
Note
After restoring the system disk, perform the following settings before starting up the system in multi-user mode.
[Setting procedure]
1) If "6.1.1 Settings Before Backing Up" is not executed, start up the system in single-user mode and set according to "6.1.1 Settings Before Backing Up."
2) Start up the system in multi-user mode.
3) Check if there are no errors in the configuration and state of the shared and local classes.

4) Undo the configuration parameter settings of GDS.
Comment out the line of SDX_DB_FAIL_NUM=0 in the /etc/opt/FJSVsdx/sdx.cf configuration file.
