2.21 Device Information Collection Tool Configuration File

Usage

Used to specify the character encoding of the "device/media list file" output using the device information collection tool.

The file must be placed in the same folder as the device information collection tool (fsw01ejj.exe).

Saving location

File format

• The file comprises a Main section

  Encode:

  Character encoding of the "device/media list file" (If omitted, "1" will be used)

  0:

  Shift JIS

  1:

  UTF-8

• "UTF-8" will be used in the cases below:

  • A value other than 0 is specified

  • No value is specified

  • The fsw01ejj.ini file does not exist

Use example

To output the "device/media list file" in Shift JIS format

To output the "device/media list file" in UTF-8 format
