1.29.6 Media Individual Identification Registration Information

Functional Specification

Display information of media registered in the Management Console.

If media information is registered using the Management Console, the registered information will be distributed to all clients (CTs) regardless of the policy setting (*1). The information will be updated to the latest information when CT policies are distributed.

*1: It refers to the setting of "Use/Do not Use" in Individual identification of the File export/read of the Policy Settings window.

Command Format

FSW11EJ7.EXE <password> /D /Media [/Silent]

Option

<password>:: Specify the client management password set on the Management Console or the password specified during installation of the client (CT).

/D:: Display information.

/Media:: Display the permitted media information.

/Silent:

Suppress the message below after command execution.

Item Name	Description
[Permission switch of all media registered in Management Server]	Whether all media registered on the Management Server can be used. 0: Not permitted 1: Permitted
[Number of settings for individual media identification]	Number of media registered as permitted in Detailed Settings of Individual identification of the File export/read in the policy being applied. When the value is 0, items after Media - Management No. will not be output.
[Media - Management No.]	Number allocated to each registered media. The value is an integer greater than 0. It is different from the registration sequence and display sequence of the Management Console.
[Media Name]	Information registered in Name/Media Name in the Device/Media Registration window of the Management Console.
[Volume Name]	Information registered in Device Name/Volume Name in the Device/Media Registration window of the Management Console.
[Identification Method]	Information registered in Device/Media Identification Method in the Device/Media Registration window of the Management Console. 1: When Complete Match is selected (internal serial number and the media identification information issued by the system)
[Internal Serial No.]	Information registered in Internal Serial No. / Hardware ID in the Device/Media Registration window of the Management Console.
[Total Capacity]	Total capacity of permitted media.
[Period for Use]	Period for use set for the media. Display format: YYYYMMDD format When the period for use is not set, it is displayed as 99999999.
[Period for Use (when offline]	Same as Period for Use.
[Number of media history items]	Number of media connection log items stored in the client (CT) when communication with the Management Server cannot be performed. When the value is 0, items after Media - Management No. will not be output.
[Media - History No.]	Number of media connection log items stored in the client (CT) when communication with the Management Server cannot be performed. The value is an integer greater than 0. It is not the same as the registration sequence and display sequence of the Management Console.
