1.4 Format Drive

The drive with export prohibition specified cannot be formatted with the format function of the OS.
To format the drive with export prohibition specified, use this function.

The following describes the procedure of formatting a drive.

1. Start the File Export Utility window.

2. Select Format drive from the File menu.

   The Format drive window is displayed.

3. Select the drive to be formatted, and click the Format button.

   Do not select the drive in which the OS is installed.

   The s Floppy Disk Drive window is displayed.

   

4. Select the format method in Format options, and click the Start button.

5. The warning window is displayed. After confirming the content, click the OK button.
