Windows Environment
Open the Service screen.
For Windows Server 2012 or later
Click Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services.
For Windows environments other than listed above
Click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
Make sure that the status of the ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Optimization Option service is set to "Start".
Check the Storage Cruiser's manager service.
Make sure that you can log into Web Console and on the Event Log screen of Web Console, see that message esccs10000 is output.
Solaris/Linux Environment
ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Optimization Option daemon
Execute the following command to check whether the process exists.
# /bin/ps -ef | grep FJSVssast | grep -v grep
Check the Storage Cruiser's manager daemon.
Make sure that you can log into Web Console and on the Event Log screen of Web Console, see that message esccs10000 is output.
