The interactive uninstallation procedure of Storage Cruiser's agent (for Linux) is as follows:
Login to the server on which to perform the tasks. Perform operations after logging in with root (superuser).
Execute the following command.
# rpm -e FJSVssage |
Note
If you are planning to install Storage Cruiser's agent again in a different directory after executing the rpm command, make sure that no FJSVssage package directories remain. Refer to "2.3.3.1 Required Disk Space for Installation" for information on the FJSVssage package directory.
If the FJSVssage package directory contains any user-specific files, the uninstallation process cannot delete these files; due to this, executing the rpm command does also not delete the FJSVssage package directory. In such a case, delete the directory manually.
Delete the sscruisera line from the /etc/services file.
Reboot the system.
# /sbin/shutdown -r now |
The Storage Cruiser's agent (for Linux) uninstallation is completed.
