The interactive uninstallation procedure of Storage Cruiser's agent (for Solaris) is as follows:
Log in to the server as a superuser.
Execute the following command.
# pkgrm FJSVssage |
Note
If you are planning to install Storage Cruiser's agent again in a different directory after executing the pkgrm command, make sure that no FJSVssage package directories remain. Refer to "2.3.3.1 Required Disk Space for Installation" for information on the FJSVssage package directory.
If the FJSVssage package directory contains any user-specific files, the uninstallation process cannot delete these files; due to this, executing the pkgrm command does also not delete the FJSVssage package directory. In such a case, delete the directory manually.
Delete the sscruisera line from the /etc/services file.
Reboot the system.
# /usr/sbin/shutdown -y -g0 -i6 |
The Storage Cruiser's agent (for Solaris) uninstallation is completed.
