B.1 Message format

This section describes message formats of the virtual NIC mode.

1. A format for information messages and error output messages:

   rvnet: AAAAA: BBBCC:  DDDDD EEEEE

2. A format for console output messages:

   rvnet: BBBCC AAAAA: DDDDD EEEEE

(1) Component name

Always begins with "rvnet."

(2) Error type

AAAAA provides the following information:

ERROR:

Error message

WARNING:

Warning message

INFO:

Information message

(3) Message number (Displayed in total five digits.)

Outputs an output message with a unique number. The message number is not displayed when an internal message is output.

The first three digits (BBB) indicate the message number.
The last two digits (CC) indicate the internal code.

(4) Error details

DDDDD indicates the details of the error.

(5) Others

The complementary information (EEEEE) is occasionally output if necessary.
