When creating multiple virtual NICs which shares the grouped physical NICs and allocating them to multiple exclusive-IP zones or Kernel Zones, use one of the NIC among the grouped NICs for each zone to carry out the communication with the external remote system.
In the communication between zones, since packets are directly transferred between virtual NICs, the band of the physical NIC is not consumed. Also, if the physical NIC fails, the communication between zones is continued through the virtual NIC.
