B.1 Types of License

On the current version, the following types of license that can be managed by the license management function.

L2	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Basic License	License for managing the ETERNUS Disk storage systems.
L3	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Standard License	License for totally managing the SAN environment including ETERNUS Disk storage systems, switches and servers. In addition, this license can manage NetApp FAS Series, FAS Series (with clustered Data ONTAP), V-Series, V-Series (with clustered Data ONTAP), and Tintri VMstore series.
L4	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Standard CM Expansion (2->4CM)	License for managing the ETERNUS DX8000 S3 series, DX8000 S2 series. This license is required for a disk storage system which has more than 2 CMs.
L5	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Standard CM Expansion (4->6CM)	License for managing the ETERNUS DX8000 S3 series, DX8000 S2 series. This license is required for a disk storage system which has more than 4 CMs.
L6	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Standard CM Expansion (6->8CM)	License for managing the ETERNUS DX8000 S3 series, DX8000 S2 series. This license is required for a disk storage system which has more than 6 CMs.
L7	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Standard CM Expansion (X->YCM)	License for managing the ETERNUS DX8900 S3. This license is required for a disk storage system which has a maximum of 24 CMs. The value of X is found by adding 2 CMs to the previous value. The minimum value of X is 8 and the maximum value is 22. The value of Y is found by adding 2 CMs to the corresponding value of X. The minimum value of Y is 10 and the maximum value is 24.
L8	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Optimization Option	License for managing Automated Storage Tiering feature for the ETERNUS DX100 S4/DX200 S4, DX100 S3/DX200 S3, DX500 S3/DX600 S3, DX S2 series (excluding DX60 S2), DX8000 S3 series, and ETERNUS AF series.
L9	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Quality of Service Management Option	License for managing Automated Quality of Service feature for the ETERNUS DX100 S4/DX200 S4, DX100 S3/DX200 S3, DX500 S3/DX600 S3, DX8000 S3 series, ETERNUS AF series, and ETERNUS DX200F.
L10	ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Storage Cluster Option	License for using Storage Cluster functions. After L3 and L17 licenses or L17 and L23 licenses are registered, it is necessary to register this license.
L11	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Local Copy License	License for using Advanced Copy functions of the ETERNUS Disk storage system in the following ways: Advanced Copy can be done inside the storage system only. Agent-based operation model An agent is installed on a Managed Server and the operation is done in cooperation with the Managed Server's OS or DBMS. Agent-less operation model Advanced Copy is done by using AdvancedCopy Manager CCM, without installing an agent on the Managed Server. This license applies to the ETERNUS DX S4 series, DX S3 series, DX S2 series, DX60, ETERNUS AF series, and ETERNUS DX200F. Advanced Copy Feature license for the ETERNUS Disk storage system is not required.
L12	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Local Copy License (w/o HW license)	License for using Advanced Copy functions of the ETERNUS Disk storage system in the following ways: Advanced Copy can be done inside the storage system only. Agent-based operation model An agent is installed on a Managed Server and the operation is done in cooperation with the Managed Server's OS or DBMS. Agent-less operation model Advanced Copy is done by using AdvancedCopy Manager CCM, without installing an agent on the Managed Server. This license applies to the ETERNUS Disk storage systems except the ETERNUS DX S4 series, DX S3 series, DX S2 series, DX60, ETERNUS AF series, and ETERNUS DX200F. The prior registration of the Advanced Copy Feature license for the ETERNUS Disk storage system is required.
L13	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Local Copy CM Expansion (2->4CM)	License for using Advanced Copy functions of the ETERNUS DX8000 S3 series, DX8000 S2 series. This license is required for a disk storage system which has more than 2 CMs.
L14	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Local Copy CM Expansion (4->6CM)	License for using Advanced Copy functions of the ETERNUS DX8000 S3 series, DX8000 S2 series. This license is required for a disk storage system which has more than 4 CMs.

This license applies to the ETERNUS DX100 S4/DX200 S4, DX100 S3/DX200 S3, DX500 S3/DX600 S3, DX8000 S3 series, DX90 S2, DX400 S2 series, DX8000 S2 series, ETERNUS AF series, and ETERNUS DX200F. Advanced Copy Feature license for the ETERNUS Disk storage system is not required.

L19	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Remote Copy CM Expansion (2->4CM)	License for using Remote Advanced Copy functions of the DX8000 S3 series, ETERNUS DX8000 S2 series. This license is required for a disk storage system which has more than 2 CMs.
L20	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Remote Copy CM Expansion (4->6CM)	License for using Remote Advanced Copy functions of the ETERNUS DX8000 S3 series, DX8000 S2 series. This license is required for a disk storage system which has more than 4 CMs.

L24	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Local Copy License Software Upgrade	License for using Advanced Copy functions of the ETERNUS Disk storage system in the following ways: Advanced Copy can be done inside the storage system only. Agent-based operation model An agent is installed on a Managed Server and the operation is done in cooperation with the Managed Server's OS or DBMS. Agent-less operation model Advanced Copy is done by using AdvancedCopy Manager CCM, without installing an agent on the Managed Server. This license applies to the ETERNUS DX500 S3/DX600 S3, DX8000 S3 series, DX400 S2 series, DX8000 S2 series, and is an additional license on which Advanced Copy Feature license is already registered. For the ETERNUS DX400 S2 series, DX8000 S2 series, Advanced Copy Feature license must be registered prior to this license registration.
L25	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager for Exchange Server	The Exchange Server mailbox database can be restored using the Restore Wizard. This license is a common license to L11 and L12. After L11 or L12 is registered, it is necessary to register this license.
L26	ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager for Microsoft SQL Server	The SQL Server database can be restored using the Restore Wizard. This license is a common license to L11 and L12. After L11 or L12 is registered, it is necessary to register this license.
