There is no restriction on putting the following software under monitoring of antivirus software:
Installation program
Files under required disks for operation and required disks for installation used for installation program
However, depending on the type of antivirus software, the installation program behaviors may be affected or access to the files under required disks for operation and required disks for installation used for installation program may be restricted. In that case, put those files out of monitoring according to the instructions of the antivirus software.

When Installing AdvancedCopy Manager to Perform Backup and Replication Operations
To secure the consistency of resources to be backed up and replicated, antivirus software must be prevented from accessing the resources. Refer to "Running Software" in "Notes on Backup and Replication Operation" in the ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide for details.
