The procedure below indicates how to migrate an environment in which the GFS Local File System is used.
Back up the data on the GFS Local File System.
Back up each file on the GFS Local File System in the migration source environment. Use tar(1), cpio(1), or backup software.
Build the migration destination environment.
Build a global zone, non-global zone, and cluster applications in the migration destination environment. For details on how to build the environment, see "Using PRIMECLUSTER in Oracle Solaris Zones Environments" in "PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide."
Restore the backup data in the migration destination environment.
Restore the data on the GFS Local File System that was backed up in step 1 to ZFS in the destination global zone.
