Please note the following points when you start CF by the GUI.
In degenerated operation in which a part of cluster nodes is stopped, CF cannot be started by the GUI. In this case, reboot the node.
The following message will be output when the node is rebooted.
WARNING: sfcfsrm:5001: Starting the sfcfrmd daemon was suspended because quorum does not exist |
See "C.3.3 Corrective action when the sfcfrmd daemon is not started" to take corrective action.
Please note the following points when you stop CF by the GUI.
If you want to stop CF on the plural nodes including the node that operates the primary MDS, stop CF on the node that operates the primary MDS at the end. Otherwise, it might take time to stop CF.
Information
If the GFS Shared File System is unmounted by sfcumntgl(1M) on all nodes before CF is stopped when all CF of a shared node of the GFS Shared File System is stopped, the order of stopping CF need not be considered.
