Random: Use any of numbers that are not used at that point.

Note 1)

Default port number, which can be modified when you install the CS.

Note 2)

Default port number of IIS. The Web GUI settings need to be modified when you modify the port number.

Note 3)

To determine the device information, ADT accesses the following port numbers at the same network segment.

  • 515: For checking whether the detected device is a printer.
    ADT determines that the device whose port number is null is a printer.

  • 161: Obtain details about the device that cannot be determined as a PC.

Note 4)

Y: Port that must be configured as an exception to the firewall of the communication destination system

N: Port that does not need to be configured as an exception to the firewall of the communication destination system

Settings when using firewall in CS and DS

Specify the following command as exception command of the firewall.

<Systemwalker Desktop Patrol installation directory>\JRE\6.0\bin\javaw.exe

Settings when using firewall in CS, DS, and SS

Set the port number used for receive port to exception in the firewall settings.

In addition, modify the settings when you modify the port number of the receive port.
