In order to recover the FUJITSU Software ServerView Resource Orchestrator Cloud Edition environment of the switchover source site on the switchover destination site using DR Option, it is necessary to replicate the disks storing the following information from the switchover source site to the switchover destination site.
Folder which contains switchover information
This folder contains the following information:
The image file storage folders of physical servers
The output of the rcxmgrexport command
The output of the rcxstorage command
User scripts and definition files
Estimate that at least 5 GB of disk space is necessary for storing the information from steps 2 to 4. In addition, add 23 MB for each network device managed by Resource Orchestrator to the estimate.
Virtual storage resources and disk resources registered in the replication target storage pools
The disk resources used by the managed servers or images of the switchover target.
When manually copying the switchover information folder, it is not necessary to replicate the disk on which the switchover information folder is stored.
For the operation performed with the manually copied switchover information folder, refer to "8. Transfer the Switchover Information Folder" in "4.1 Normal Operation".
Considering the descriptions above, estimate the replication target disk capacity. For details on the switchover information folder and the target areas of replication, refer to "3.1 Pre-setup Preparations".
Secure 200 MB on the manager of each site as the disk space for storing information necessary for the DR configuration check tool. For details, refer to "B.6 rcxdrcheck".
