16.3.4 [Network] Tab

Specify the following items.

Network to connect

Configure a network resource to connect.

Clicking the [Select] button displays the [Select a Network Resource] dialog.

If the [OK] button is clicked while a network resource is selected, the network resource to connect is displayed.

The number of NICs that can be configured differs depending on the VM type.

0 to 10

[Hyper-V]
0 to 8

[Xen]
0 to 15

[KVM]
0 to 8

[OVM for x86 2.2]
1 to 8

[Solaris Zones] [OVM for SPARC]
0 to 8

[Citrix Xen]
0 to 7

[OVM for x86 3.x]
1 to 8

IP address (Optional)

Specify the IP address to allocate to the L-Server. To manually specify the IP address to allocate to the L-Server, enter the IP address.

When cloning image customization is disabled, the IP addresses allocated to L-Servers are not automatically configured in the guest OSs.
When cloning image customization is enabled, the IP addresses allocated to L-Servers are automatically configured in the guest OSs.

DNS server

Specify the DNS server.

IP addresses can be automatically configured, on the following guest OSs on which the integrated services are installed.
