Table 11.4 Resource Status Icons

Icon

Status

Meaning

normal

No new errors, warnings, or stops were detected.

warning

A warning was detected.

unknown

The status could not be obtained.

error

An error was detected.

fatal

A fatal error was detected, the resource is now unusable.

stop

The resource was detected to have been powered off.

affected

Operation is affected due to trouble involving other resources.

All routes to and from particular resources are blocked and some services may be unavailable.

This icon is only displayed in Analysis Mode.

affected

Operation is affected due to trouble involving other resources.

The routes to and from particular resources are partially blocked but services are still available.

This icon is only displayed in Analysis Mode.

Point

  • For the logical resources related to multiple physical resources (network, firewall, and SLB resources), the highest priority status of the corresponding physical resources is displayed.
Priority levels of status are as shown below:

(High Priority) fatal > error > unknown > warning > stop > normal (Low Priority)
  • For virtual switches, the status of the VM host to which they belong is displayed.

Table 11.6 Search Target Icon

Icon

Meaning

Table 11.7 Point-to-Point Route Search Icon

Icon

Meaning

Represents the resource as the starting point of a route search.

Represents the resource as the end point of a route search.

Table 11.9 Port Status Icons

Icon

Status

Meaning

normal

No ports with "error" or "disabled" status were detected.
The state of the port is always displayed as normal status for LAN switch blades that operate in Converged Fabric mode or LAN switch blade PY CB 10Gb FEX Nexus B22.

error

An error was detected from the port (e.g. the opposite port of the NIC, L2 switch, or Ethernet Fabric was disabled, or the cable between this link and its opposite port or NIC was disconnected).
When ports of a network device other than a LAN switch blade are disabled, the state of the port is displayed as error.

disabled

The port was detected to have been disabled (offline).

Point

For the ports of the following resources, the status of the resource to which they belong is displayed.

  • Servers

  • VM guests

  • Virtual switches

  • L-Servers
