This section explains how to delete the public LAN (MAC address) information of a rack mount server or a tower server.
In the ROR console server resource tree, right-click the target server, and select [Modify]-[Public LAN (MAC Address) Information] from the popup menu.
The MAC addresses of the NICs for the admin LAN and the public LAN that have been configured in the [Public LAN (MAC Address) Information] dialog are displayed.
Select the NIC to delete using the radio button.
Click [Delete].
Use the dialog to check that the target MAC address has been deleted.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 as many times as there are MAC addresses to delete.
Click the [OK] button.
Edit the definition file.
This step is only necessary when performing management using VIOM.
Delete the definition of the PCI bus number corresponding to the detached NIC.
