7.6.1 Changing Network Device Basic Information

This section explains how to change the basic information of network devices.

The following settings can be changed.

• Network Device Name

• Admin LAN (IP Address)

• SNMP Community

  Can only be changed when using SNMP monitoring.

To modify settings other than those listed above, use the methods explained in "7.6.2 Changing Network Device Settings".

Complete setting modifications on the target network device before performing this procedure.

Use the following procedure to configure a network device.

1. In the ROR console network device tree, right-click the target network device and select [Modify] [Basic Information] from the popup menu.

   The [Modify Network Device] dialog is displayed.

2. Make changes to the values as needed.

3. Click the [OK] button.

   The settings of the network device are modified.
