In the following cases, it is necessary to register storage management software with Resource Orchestrator for coordination.
When the server type is "Physical"
When using RHEL5-Xen as server virtualization software

For storage management software, only PRIMECLUSTER GDS can be coordinated, when using RHEL5-Xen.
Use the following procedure to register storage management software:
Decide the storage environment.
Configure the storage environment using storage management software which can be registered.
The following storage management software can be registered with Resource Orchestrator:

Data ONTAP
PRIMECLUSTER GDS
EMC Navisphere Manager
EMC Solutions Enabler
FalconStor NSS
libvirt
zfs

When registering EMC Navisphere Manager or EMC Solutions Enabler as storage management software, it is necessary to specify the installation folder of Navisphere CLI or SYMCLI in the definition file for EMC storage.

When registering the SAN Client CLI as storage management software, it is necessary to specify the installation folder of the SAN Client CLI in the definition file for FalconStor NSS.
For details, refer to "7.1.11 Definition File for FalconStor NSS" in the "Setup Guide CE".
Register storage management software for coordination with Resource Orchestrator.
Execute the rcxadm storagemgr register command to register storage management software with Resource Orchestrator.
