Format
strhanet [-n vadapter]
Description
Activates virtual adapters set using the hanetconfig command. If you use the adapter setting script to set IP addresses automatically, the script is executed automatically after you execute the strhanet command.
Options
-n vadapter
Specifies the names of the virtual adapters to be activated.
If this option is omitted, all virtual adapters in inactive state are activated.
To activate an inactive virtual adapter in the environment where active virtual adapters exist, specify this option.
Notes
Once you have activated a virtual adapter, that adapter is activated automatically every time you start the system. Therefore, it is not necessary to activate it again.
Make sure that the network properties screen is closed before running this command. Otherwise, an error may occur in executing the command.
It may take about 90 seconds for each virtual adapter to be activated.
This command is not available in safe mode.
After running the strhanet command, unintended adapter names may be displayed. On refreshing the screen, it will display the correct list of adapter names.
Do not force termination of the strhanet command while it is running.
If such termination is unavoidable, run the stphanet command afterwards to deactivate the virtual adapters; then, run the strhanet command, and reboot the system.
After terminating the strhanet command, there may be cases that virtual adapters will be detected as new devices. In such a case, please install the GLS drivers on the device detection screen before carrying out this countermeasure.
Do not execute the following commands at the same time, because the configuration information of virtual adapter may not be changed.
Make sure the configuration information of virtual adapter is changed if the following commands have been executed at the same time. If not, execute the following commands again one by one.
hanetnic command
strhanet command
stphanet command
If any virtual adapter is paused, you cannot specify the -n option.
