11.4 Modifying a Tenant

The [Modify Tenant] window can be used to modify tenant information.

Perform the following steps to modify tenant information:

  1. In the [Tenant List] window, select the tenant to modify, and then click the [Modify] button.
    The [Modify Tenant] window is displayed.

  2. In the [Modify Tenant] window, edit the value of the item being changed.

    Item

    Explanation

    Tenant name

    Displays the tenant name.
    The tenant name cannot be changed.

    Tenant display name

    Specify the tenant display name. Specify a character string of up to 30 characters.
    This specification is mandatory.

    E-mail address

    Use up to 64 characters to specify the e-mail address or mailing list of the Tenant Administrator.

    Select Global Pools

    Selects or deselects the global pools that can be used from the tenant.
    Multiple global pools can be selected, and there is no upper limit to the number that can be selected.
    Click the [Select all] button to select all global pools. Click the [Clear all] button to remove the selected state from all global pools.

    Accounting

    Enter information related to tenant charges.
    The input area is displayed only if usage charge calculation is enabled.
    Refer to "8.7.4 Usage Charge Calculator Settings" in the "Operation Guide CE" for information about configuring the usage charge calculation function.

    Cut off date

    Specify the day to be used for monthly closing processing from the next time.
    Specify between "1" and "31".
    "31" indicates the day ending the period.
    Changes will take effect the month after the monthly closing processing.

    Next cut off date

    Date when the monthly closing processing will next be performed.
    This cannot be changed.

    Accounting E-mail address

    Specify the email address to send the usage charges.
    No email is sent if this is omitted.

    Application process

    Enter information related to application processes.
    The input area is displayed only if Application process function is "Enable" setting is used for the global settings.

    Global setting/Unique setting

    Select whether to use the global settings or unique settings.
    "Global setting" is selected by default.
    Clicking [Global setting] displays the Global setting dialog box.

    L-Platform subscription

    Select whether approval is performed by the tenant administrator or assessment is performed by the infrastructure administrator.
    Approval/assessment settings will be displayed only if "Unique setting" is selected.
    The same settings as global settings are selected by default.

    L-Platform reconfiguration

    Note

    • Ensure that there are no pending processes for the tenant when reconfiguring an application process. If there are pending processes, check with the tenant administrator if reconfiguration is allowed.
      Pending L-platforms can be checked using the listUnapprovalLplatform command (displays list of L-Platform applications). Refer to "10.11 listUnapprovalLplatform (List of L-Platform Applications)" in the "Reference Guide (Command/XML) CE" for information on the command.

    • If the application process settings are changed, the settings prior to reconfiguration will be used for users already logged in.

    • When using Converged Fabric virtual fabrics, only the tenant using the default VFAB can be used in a global pool with the pool type "network pool".
      For details on virtual fabrics, refer to "H.1.3 Virtual Fabrics" in the "Design Guide CE".

  3. Click the [Confirm] button.
    The confirmation window is displayed.

  4. Check the contents being changed, and then click the [Modify] button.
    The completion window is displayed.

  5. Click the [Back to Tenant List] button to return to the [Tenant List] window.
