16.2.2 Procedure for changing output destination

Use the following procedure to change the output destination of the operation logs (activity) for which the output destination can be changed.

1. Edit the appropriate items in the following setting files:

   • Setting files

     Log name	Settings file
     vsys_trace_log	[Windows Manager] Installation_folder\RCXCFMG\config\vsys_log4j.xml [Linux Manager] /etc/opt/FJSVcfmg/config/vsys_log4j.xml
     vsys_batch_log	[Windows Manager] Installation_folder\RCXCFMG\config\batch_log4j.xml [Linux Manager] /etc/opt/FJSVcfmg/config/batch_log4j.xml
     myportal_trace.log	[Windows Manager] Installation_folder\RCXCTMG\MyPortal\config\managerview_log4j.xml [Linux Manager] /etc/opt/FJSVctmyp/config/managerview_log4j.xml
     cfmg_api_log	[Windows Manager] Installation_folder\RCXCFMG\config\api_log4j.xml [Linux Manager] /etc/opt/FJSVcfmg/config/api_log4j.xml

   • Setting items

     Setting item	Description
     File	Specify the output destination for the log file. [Windows Manager] Example: <param name="File" value="C:\ProgramData\Fujitsu\SystemwalkerCF-MG\logs\vsys_trace_log" /> [Linux Manager] Example: <param name="File" value="/var/opt/FJSVcfmg/logs/vsys_trace_log" />

2. Restart the manager.
   Refer to "2.1 Starting and Stopping Managers" for information on how to restart the manager.
