Whether to back up the network device file is decided based on the "CONFIG_BACKUP" parameter in unm_mon.rcxprop file.
Backup is performed in the following cases.
When performing automatic configuration of network devices
When executing the rcxadm netdevice cfbackup command specifying the network device
Point
When performing the following operation to manage the newest file for the network device, be sure to back up the file for configuration of the network device in the rcxadm netdevice cfbackup command.
When the file for configuration of the network device has been updated, the configuration of management information has been changed, or the server certificate updated, log in to network device directly
The backup is stored in the network device file storage area of the ROR admin server.
When backing up the network device file, the backup method differs according to the specifications of network devices.
When the network device has an ftp server function
When backup is performed, network connection to the specified device is made directly, and the backup performed.
When the network device does not have an ftp server function
When backup is performed, the backup will be performed over the external ftp server defined using the rcxadm netconfig command in advance.
