When RHEL5-Xen is used as server virtualization software, it is necessary to set the default value of MAC address to allocate to virtual servers.
Follow the procedure below to use RHEL5-Xen.
Use the editor to open the settings file.
The settings file is stored in the following location:
[Windows Manager]
Installation_folder\RCXCFMG\config\vsys_config.xml
[Linux Manager]
/etc/opt/FJSVcfmg/config/vsys_config.xml
Set the following items in the settings file:

default-macaddress | One of the names of the MAC address set resources that have been registered with the resource management |
Save the file.
Restart the manager.
Refer to "2.1 Starting and Stopping Managers" in the "Operation Guide CE" for information on how to Restart the manager.
Note
When RHEL5-Xen is used as server virtualization software, this setting is necessary.
If it is omitted, L-Platform subscription applications will result in an error and L-Platforms cannot be created.
