This section explains how to collect cloning images.
Use the following procedure to collect cloning images:
After installing an OS, stop the target L-Server.
On the ROR console, right-click the target L-Server in the orchestration tree, and select [Cloning]-[Collect] from the popup menu.
Click the [OK] button.
A given cloning image (identified by its name attribute) can be managed by image version.
If a cloning image is created using VM management software, it can be used as is.
Refer to "17.5.1 Collecting and Registering" in the "User's Guide for Infrastructure Administrators (Resource Management) CE".
Points to Confirm Before Collecting Images when OS Settings are Enabled during Deployment
The virtual storage must have at least double the free space of the virtual disk which is allocated to the virtual L-Server that is the target of image collection.
When the guest OS is Linux, configure the NetworkManager service not to start when the guest OS starts.
Release slot number 1 of the VM guest.
