Register the information collection source. The following items are required to register an information collection source.

Script package
When applied patch information cannot be collected from an information collection source, patch collection items are not necessary.
Specify a collection item using a CSV file. For details on the file format, refer to "6.2.2 Collection Item Information File".

Update of a collection item
Update the collection items of the software or patch.
The collection items of the information collection source of UpdateAdvisor cannot be updated.

Set the information collection sources to valid or invalid.

The installed software and applied patch information collected from the deleted information collection source are deleted from CMDB when discovery is performed after the deletion.
Detailed display of a collection item
Display the collection items of the software and patches.
The collection items are output in a CSV file. For details on the file format, refer to "6.2.2 Collection Item Information File".
Upload of a script package
Update a script package.
The script packages of manually registered information collection sources and UpdateAdvisor information collection source cannot be updated.

The script packages of manually registered information collection sources cannot be downloaded.

Deletion of an information collection source
Delete an information collection source.
The software and patch information collected by the deleted information collection source are deleted when discovery is performed after the deletion.
Manually registered information collection sources and the UpdateAdvisor information collection source cannot be deleted.
