Configuration information collected from ICT resources by performing discovery or other operations is registered in CMDB as CIs. Information is stored in the type of CI corresponding to the ICT resource type. Information is retained as attributes of the CI. For ICT resources which are related to each other, relations are also created between the corresponding CIs.
This chapter explains the timings of registration, attributes, and relations of each CI.
