4.4.3 Operation

This section explains the operation procedure of the View Wizard window.

Display method

In the Views window, click the Create button or the Edit button.

4.4.3.1 Disabling Policies

When editing a view, all policies that are configured for that view are disabled. Confirm enabled policies using this window. After editing the view, review the content of the policies that were disabled and enable those policies.

This window is not displayed when creating a new view.

Operation method

Display Item	Description
Enabled Policy List	Displays enabled policies. Disable all policies. Confirm the enabled policies that are displayed and then check this checkbox.

Operation buttons

Operation Button	Description
Next	Moves to the View Information window.
Cancel	Closes the View Wizard.

4.4.3.2 View Information

Enter the view information.

Display Item	Description
View Name	Enter the view name.

Cancel	Closes the View Wizard.

4.4.3.3 Scope

When Next is clicked in the View Information window, the Scope window is displayed.

Operation method

Scope

Define the scope of the view. Configure the following information for each hierarchy level.

Display Item	Description
CI Name	Enter the CI name.
CI to Display	Select the CIs to display.
Conditions	Specify conditions. Select one of the following: Do not specify No conditions are specified. Custom Specify conditions. Specify the logical operators, attributes, and comparison operators displayed below, and enter keywords.
Attribute to use as label	Select an attribute to use as the label.

Conditions

When filtering the CIs to be displayed at the level, specify the conditions. Specify the following information:

Boolean Operator	Select a logical operator.
Attribute	Select an attribute.
Comparison operator	Select a comparison operator.
Keyword	Enter a keyword.

Operation buttons

Display Item	Description
Add	Add a hierarchy level.
Back	Returns to the View Information window.
Next	Moves to the Display Method window.
Cancel	Closes the View Wizard.

4.4.3.4 Display Method

When Next is clicked in the Scope window, the Display Method window is displayed.

Define the display method of a view. Configure the following information for each column.

Display Item	Description
Column name	Enter the column name.
Attribute	Select an attribute.

Add	Adds a column.
Back	Returns to the Scope window.
Next	Moves to the Confirm window.
Cancel	Closes the View Wizard.
