When Monitoring Devices Using Only SNMPv1 Protocol

Note

The SNMP Trap monitoring service is an OS standard service. Do not stop the SNMP Trap monitoring service unless there is a special reason, because it affects other products such as ServerView AlarmService and ServerView Resource Coordinator VE, etc.

When Monitoring Devices Using Only SNMPv3 Protocol or When Monitoring Devices Using SNMPv1 Protocol and SNMPv3 Protocol

When ETERNUS SF SNMP Trap service is set to be used in "SNMP Trap Setting (for Windows)" in "Setup of Storage Cruiser's Manager" in the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide, the procedure for starting/stopping the ETERNUS SF SNMP Trap service is as follows.
