D.1.4 Actions after performing Disaster Recovery

After performing Disaster Recovery, check vsys_dr_log to see if the logs shown in "D.1.1 Logs of L-Platforms being Processed during Disaster Recovery Switchover Information Collection" and "D.1.2 Logs that Reflect the Resource Status due to Automatic Processing of L-Platform" are output.

This section explains the log output according to the processes described for the "Processing" item in "D.1.1 Logs of L-Platforms being Processed during Disaster Recovery Switchover Information Collection".

  1. SUBSCRIBING

The L-Platform was being deployed by subscription or by importing L-Servers when it was exported.

      Action item

      • SET NETWORK DEVICE RESOURCE-ID

      • SET DISK RESOURCE-ID

      • SET IP ADDRESS

      • SET SCOPE OF L-PLATFORM

      Condition

The L-Platform has been deployed successfully after being exported, and the resources exist. The resource status has been reflected in the L-Platform configuration information.

      Action

The L-Platform can be operated as is. No action required.

      INFO

      Action item

      DELETED L-PLATFORM

      Condition

The L-Platform was exported when its subscription was being processed, but the deployment failed, or it was exported when an L-Server was being imported as an L-Platform, but the processing was not completed. The L-Platform configuration information was deleted because the resources do not exist.

      Action

      • If the subscription was not successfully processed, process it again.

      • If the import of an L-Server as a new L-Platform has not been completed, check the status of the orchestration tree on the [Resource] tab and take the following actions.

        1. Check if the tenant contains the L-Platform ID name folder (*1).
Perform step 3 if it does not contain folders.
If it contains a folder, check if the folder also contains an L-Server to be imported.
Perform steps 2 and 3 if the folder does not contain any L-Server.
If the folder contains an L-Server, perform steps 2 and 3 after moving the target L-Server to a location where they can be imported, such as immediately below the tenant or root.

        2. Delete the L-Platform ID name folder (*) in the tenant.

        3. Import the L-Server again.

*1: The folder name can be specified according to "18.5 Setting the Method for Setting Resource Names" in the "Setup Guide CE". The default is L-Platform ID.

  2. RECONFIGURING

The L-Platform was during a reconfiguration such as adding or deleting servers, disks or NICs, or changing server details when it was exported.
