Description
If Cloud Edition is installed, or SSO (ServerView Single sign-on) is selected when installing Virtual Edition, automatic registration of the directory service with Resource Orchestrator may fail for the following reason.
When communication with ServerView Operations Manager is not possible
When registration of a directory service with Resource Orchestrator fails, an authentication error will occur even in a correct user ID and password are entered, and you will be unable to log in.
When Active Directory is operated by the redundant configuration
The error occurs in one of domain controllers, and there is a possibility of failing in the synchronization of user information between domain controllers.
Corrective Action
Refer to the following, and check if a directory service is registered with Resource Orchestrator.
If Cloud Edition is installed, or SSO (ServerView Single sign-on) is selected when installing Virtual Edition

If directory service is not registered, refer to the following and perform registration again.

When Active Directory is operated by the redundant configuration
Restore Active Directory where the error occurs, and synchronize user information between domain controllers.
