Explanation:

One of the following descriptor read errors occurred:

• The specified descriptor file was not found.

• The reference authority for the descriptor file was not found.

Resolution:

• Before setting a descriptor name by using the Setting the descriptor name function, check whether an attempt was made to execute the Output processing function, etc.

• Check that the descriptor name specified in the Setting the Descriptor Name function is valid.

• Check that the name of the directory that contains the descriptor specified for MEDDIR in the printer information file is valid.
