1.3.2 Software Requirement of AdvancedCopy Manager's Agent

The following table lists the software requirements of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
For about the supported operating systems, refer to "Operating Environment of AdvancedCopy Manager's Agent" in the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide.

However, for information on the supported operating systems of Oracle Solaris Zones, refer to "F.3 Software Requirements".

For information on cluster software that can be linked with OSes on which AdvancedCopy Manager's agent is running, refer to "Operating Environment of AdvancedCopy Manager's Agent" in the ETERNUS SF Cluster Environment Setup Guide.

Multipath disk control (MPHD) 2.0 or later	Required if all of the following conditions are fulfilled: A Managed Server OS is Solaris 9. Multipath disk control (MPHD) carries out a multipath disk control.
Multipath disk control load balance option (MPLB) 2.0 or later	Required if all of the following conditions are fulfilled: A Managed Server OS is Solaris 9. Multipath disk control load balance option (MPLB) carries out multipath disk control and load distribution of a path is carried out further.
ETERNUS Multipath Driver	Required if all of the following conditions are fulfilled: A Management Server OS is Solaris 11 or earlier. ETERNUS Multipath Driver carries out multipath disk control and load distribution of a path is carried out further.
PRIMECLUSTER GDS Snapshot 4.1A30 or later	When the backup operation or replication operation is performed in linkage with GDS Snapshot.
VERITAS Volume Manager 4.0 VERITAS Volume Manager 4.1 VERITAS Volume Manager 5.0 VERITAS Volume Manager 5.1 VERITAS Volume Manager 6.0	When a logical volume of VERITAS Volume Manager is the target of the operation performed.
Oracle 8i later	It is necessary to link to Oracle.

Note

For Solaris 11 operating system:
VERITAS Cluster Server and VERITAS Volume Manager are not supported.
For multi-path drivers:
Use the ETERNUS Multipath Drivers for synchronous replication operations that target areas that include VTOC.
