This chapter provides details of the backup operation performed by AdvancedCopy Manager on Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 or later. AdvancedCopy Manager backups are created in units of partitions.
Throughout this manual, a partition is referred to as a "volume".
For information on the relationships between the configurations of supported devices and the copy operation, refer to "1.4 Managing Device on AdvancedCopy Manager".
Note
For backup operations, the Advanced Copy function enabled for TFOVs is not available.
