H.2 Behavior of Live Help on 2 Operating Systems

As mentioned above, 2 Operating Systems (the CoServer OS and the FTvirtual Server OS) run on a PRIMERGY FT model server. Although the 2 systems are displayed simultaneously on one monitor, you cannot remote-operate the 2 systems at the same time through one Live Help Expert window.

If you would like to operate the CoServer OS remotely, you must connect to the Live Help Client running on the CoServer OS.

Likewise, if you would like to operate the FTvirtual Server OS remotely, you must connect to the Live Help Client running on the FTvirtual Server OS.

Important

  • You cannot remotely switch between the CoServer OS and the FTvirtual Server OS using Live Help.

  • Do not change the FTvirtual Server Desktop screen to full screen view when you are remote operating the CoServer OS. Since remote switching of the 2 systems is not supported, you will become unable to operate the CoServer OS.

  • The 2 FTvirtual Server OSs synchronize 2 CoServer OSs when 2 PRIMERGY FT model servers boot. Including Live Help, applications installed on the FTvirtual Server OS cannot start until the synchronization among 2 CoServer OSs is finished. Therefore, you should wait for a while until the synchronization is finished and Live Help applications on the FTvirtual Server OS start, before you join the support session on the FTvirtual Server OS.
