While you are transferring files to the Client and a file exists in the destination, this option transfers only the files that have a newer date and time. If your file date and time is the same or older than the Client's, the file is not transferred.
If this option is not selected, all files are sent to the Client regardless of any date and time differences.
This option does not affect files you transfer from the Client's computer to you. All files are transferred regardless of date and time differences.
