13.2.3 Properties

Select this menu item to view the properties of the specified group or contact. You may use the dialog box and modify information.

Group properties:

• Group Name

  Shows the name of the specified group. You may modify this group name.

Contact properties:

• NameSpecify the name in up to 128 characters. This field is required.

• IP AddressSpecify the IP address or the DNS name in up to 128 characters.

• NoteProvide remarks or description on this contact. The remarks/description must be no more than 512 characters.

Note

• The name of the new group must be unique on the target layer of the tree to create it.

• The name of the new contact must be unique in the target group or on the target layer of the specified group to create it.

• None of the fields may contain the following characters:

  • Double quotation ( " )

  • Comma ( , )

  • Backslash ( \ )
