Live Help Expert is a powerful tool used by support personnel to provide remote assistance to their customers. Because of its sophisticated feature set, however, it is unable to connect to multiple Client computers simultaneously. Live Help Monitor has been designed to overcome this limitation.
You can start up to 8 Live Help Monitor applications simultaneously. This allows a support provider to connect to several Client machines concurrently and monitor them for problems. This can be useful when Live Help Monitor is used for remote support of unattended server machines.
As an example, a support person could start four copies of Live Help Monitor, connect to four different servers, monitor them for problems, and take control of one them should a problem arise. Alternatively, Live Help Monitor could be used in a training environment to monitor the progress of students and provide assistance when necessary.
Because of this functionality, the feature set of Live Help Monitor is slightly different than that of Live Help Expert. The table below lists the features that are unique to each application.
