Before you start or join a support session, you can change your Live Help name by choosing Name from the OPTIONS menu. The Name dialog box is displayed.
Enter your name as you want it to appear to the other members during a session. The name can be up to 16 characters.
Note
If the specified user name begins with or ends with a space, Live Help Expert will delete the space character automatically.
Note that a user may not use the same name and join the same session at then same time.
Every Live Help Expert user in a session must have a different name.
Make your changes then choose OK. Choose Cancel to leave the field unchanged.
Live Help displays your name in the following situations:
As a member of a support session, your name displays in the Members List dialog box. The list is displayed when you choose Members from the SESSION menu.
Each support session has a name. If you want to create a support session to collaborate with another Support Specialist, choose Create from the SESSION menu. When the Create dialog box displays, your name is suggested as the default.
When you have created a session, your name appears in the Live Help window title bar.
Note
The Client can change his or her name by starting the Client application and clicking the Change Settings button.
