The Expert can instruct the Client in how to operate his/her computer and application from an office using the instruction mode feature.
During instruction mode, the Expert's mouse pointer moves as the instruction pointer. Since the actual operation is done by the Client, the Expert can only move the instruction pointer to show the Client where to click. This feature is suitable for training Clients.
If the mouse pointer goes outside the range of the Incoming screen, the instruction cursor will disappear. This allows the Client to learn more independently since the Expert can hide the instruction pointer when it is not required while checking the Client's operation.
Note
Instruction mode is available only when connecting to a remote computer running a Live Help Client version V11.0 or later. If the connected Client is running V10.0 or earlier, this feature is not available.
The remote control right for the Client is required to operate the instruction pointer.
