Description
This command encrypts the user PIN and creates a user PIN management file.
Input of a user PIN is requested when this command is executed. Enter the same character string as the user PIN that was used when the certificate application was created. Note that the entered user PIN character string is not displayed.
The options and parameters of this command are shown below.
Options
-f upinfile
Specify the user PIN management file that stores the encrypted user PIN.
-d slotdir
Specify the absolute path or relative path of the slot information directory in the private key management environment.

Privilege Required
System administrator (user belonging to the Administrators group or superuser) privileges are required.
Cautions
This command must be executed with administrator privileges.
For the user PIN, specify the same character string as the user PIN that was used when the certificate application was created.
The user PIN management file is overwritten and saved.
In order to prevent user PINs travelling on networks and being leaked externally, it is recommended to execute this command from a local console, or from a terminal connected via a LAN that cannot have external connections.
