Synopsis
qrls [-sys subsystem-number](*1) [-u user-name] job ...
[-sys subsystem-number] is an option of Systemwalker Operation Manager EE.
Description
The qrls command releases the specified job that is in a holding (hld) state.
The following users can release a job.
The user who submitted the job
System administrator
The job released with this command becomes the status that existed prior to being held (that is, to the "que" state).
Options
-sys subsystem-number
In the system with multiple subsystems, this option is used to specify the subsystem that you want to operate. Specify the target subsystem number using a range of 0 to 9. If omitted, the default is subsystem 0.
-u user-name
When the system administrator releases a job, the name of the user who submitted the job must be specified in this option.
If blanks are contained in the user name, enclose the entire user name in double quotation marks. [Windows]
The user of Operation Manager cannot be specified. [UNIX]

Specifies the job to be released.

Cautions
The job name "job-name (jobno.hostname)" cannot be omitted.
For the job that was changed into "holding state" by the system administrator, even the owner of this job cannot release the job using command. If the job could be easily released by the job owner when the system administrator wants to hold the job for the Job Execution Control operation, it causes a problem during operating the Job Execution Control. This is why to prevent the held job from being released by the job owner.
