Synopsis
[Windows]
mkbat -f file [-j] [-b]
[UNIX]
mkbat -f file [-j]
Description
This command creates command sequences of the access rights setup command (mpsetacl) and owner access rights setup command (mpchown) based on the access control information already set in the project. Use this command when servers share the same definitions. You need to edit the batch file or shell script that is output if the user name specified for the "-u" option or the group name specified for the "-g" option of the access right setup command (mpsetacl) and the user name or the group name specified for the "-o" option of the owner access right setup command (mpchown) differ on each server.
Options
-f file
Specify the name of the batch file/shell script to be created.
Note that the specified file will be overwritten if it is an existing file.
-j
If "-j" is specified, the definition information on the Systemwalker Operation Manager access rights is created with the command sequence.
If "-j" is omitted, the definition information on the Systemwalker Operation Manager and Systemwalker Centric Manager access rights is created with the command sequence.
If Systemwalker Centric Manager has not been installed, specify the "-j" option when executing this command.
-b [Windows]
Specified to back up the access right definition information which has been created by the "-j" option for the local computer.
Command Location
Windows | Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory\mpwalker\bin |
Solaris | Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory/FJSVfwseo/bin |
Privilege Required
System administrator (user belonging to the Administrators group or superuser) privileges are required.
Cautions
Note the following points when creating the access right definition information for Systemwalker Centric Manager as well.
In accordance with the change of Systemwalker Centric Manger security roles, the following actions are required to create and apply the access definition information with the mkbat command between Systemwalker Centric Manager V13.3.1 or earlier and V13.4.0 or later.
If there are users registered for the Systemwalker Centric Manager security role ("SecurityAdmin" or "SecurityAuditor") on the destination server (to create and apply the access definition information), delete all those users and then extract and apply the security information with the mkbat command.
After creating or applying the access definition information with the mkbat command, register users for "SecurityAdmin" or "SecurityAuditor" as necessary.
In cluster environments, execute batch files and shell scripts that are created with this command only on the active node. The settings configured with this command on the active node will be applied to the standby node at the time of next failover. Check which nodes are the active node or standby node in the cluster system currently used.
