Synopsis
jmmode {continue|cancel|check} [-func {JOB|WRT}]
[-sys {all|subsystem number}] (*)
[-sys {all|subsystem number}] is the option of Systemwalker Operation Manager EE.
Description
This command defines whether or not the following two high-reliability functions are to be enabled respectively, as required.
Continuous execution of the network jobs when the schedule server experiences system down.
Duplication of the schedule information file (writing to backup file).
Options
{continue|cancel|check}
Specify whether or not the high-reliability functions are enabled.
Enables the high-reliability function specified with the -func option. Enables all the high-reliability functions if the -func option is omitted.
Disables the high-reliability function specified with the -func option. Disables all the high-reliability functions if the -func option is omitted.
Cancel is the default value for both JOB and WRT.
Displays the status of the current high-reliability function. If this option is specified, settings of all other options are ignored, only providing status display.
-func {JOB|WRT}
Specify whether or not the high-reliability functions are enabled. The continue and cancel options are used for the enable/disable setting, respectively. If this option is omitted, all high-reliability functions are either enabled or disabled altogether.
Specifies continuous execution of the network job.
You need to specify the same status of this option on the schedule server and the execution server. If the status of all the functions is not identical, jobs will not run properly.
When enabled with the continue option, execution of the network job is not interrupted in case of system down on the schedule server.
When disabled with the cancel option, execution of the network job is forced to terminate in case of system down on the schedule server.
Specifies duplication of the schedule information file.
When enabled with the continue option, the schedule information file is duplicated by writing the schedule information file into the original file as well as into the backup file.
When disabled with the cancel option, the schedule information file is not written into a backup file. Despite this rule, however, the file is written into a backup file under the following conditions:
When registration information (job net/group information) is added/updated/deleted.
-sys {all|subsystem number}
In systems with multiple operating subsystems, this option is used to specify a subsystem as operating target. If this option is omitted, subsystem number 0 will be the operating target.
Specify to include all subsystems as operating targets.
Specify operating target subsystem number using a range of 0 to 9.
Output Example
The following is an example of display with the check option specified. "on" appears if the option is enabled, and "off" if disabled.
JOB on WRT off
The following is an example of display with the EE version.
SYS 0 JOB on WRT off SYS 1 JOB off WRT off
